Lisa joined Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa in May 2009. Given the important role that nutrition plays in achieving wellness, she works directly with the certified personal training unit, one-on-one with interested clients, and closely with the on-site food service efforts. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Chapman University in 2005. In addition, she is currently studying to earn a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from California State University, Sacramento, which she is expected to complete in Spring 2010. Her areas of nutrition include menu planning, weight management, cultural nutrition, body cleansing, food service management and nutrition therapy. In addition to her academic pursuits, Lisa is also a writer for Sacramento Health and Fitness Magazine and participates in various CDA (California Dietetics Association) events and seminars. She is ServSafe certified and is a current FAN (Food and Nutrition) member.
Fitness Director Adam Attia joined Arden Hills Resort Club & Club in 1998. His philosophy on fitness is, “Whether you think you can, or you think you cannot, you are probably right.” Adam specializes in sport specific plyometric conditioning, explosive movements and posture in the sagital, lateral, and transverse planes, specified injury preventative training, and weight loss conditioning. He graduated from UC Davis with a BA in Communications and became an American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.) Certified Personal Trainer in 2002. Adam is Red Cross C.P.R. certified, Free Motion Certified, and CrossFit certified. In his free time, Adam enjoys traveling, working out, playing chess, and rooting for the Sacramento Kings and Cal Bears.
Award-winning Executive Chef Obadiah Huetter joined Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa as Executive Chef in February 2007 and oversees all food and beverage efforts for the wellness resort, the only one of its kind in the region. A self-proclaimed grilling expert, his culinary philosophy is to provide a great-tasting dining experience with nutrition in mind. He believes food can both satisfy the body and feed the mind and spirit as well. With more than 22 years experience in the restaurant business, Chef Huetter is well suited to oversee the multi-faceted culinary needs at Arden Hills. In fact, he’s worked in the resort environment for nearly 20 years and has traveled the world in search of new culinary experiences. Prior to joining Arden Hills Resort Club & Spa, Chef Huetter worked as Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Director at the Inn at Aspen and is a graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. |
